At the end of the day
When the sky is all black,
When the pin-drop-silence
Engulfs the earth,
When the moon is all tired-up,
And the stars don’t want to
Twinkle any more.
I close my eyes, and I see faces.
Faces I have known, faces unknown.
Faces I love, faces I don’t care about.
Faces no longer in my life,
Faces who are intrinsic parts of it.
Faces whom I have never seen,
Faces whom I will never meet again.
Faces, faces, and only faces,
I see all kind of them.
A sense of gratitude fills my heart
Whenever I see them all.

Am thankful to god
For having known them,
No matter how, why, and when.
And I don’t regret
